You will be mainly responsible for managing the newly developed Advanced Analytics solution which is used for Risk modelling and data driven decision making.
The solution will, in close cooperation between you and their Risk Modelling division, be further developed and integrated with other IT solutions to further enable data driven decision making.
Team
As Application Manager you are part of the subteam IT Risk, Legal and Compliance which is part of the team IT Finance, Risk and Treasury. A multidisciplinary team in which several competences are present, like Application Managers, Business Analysts Data Engineers, Service Managers etc. The team consists of different ages, nationalities and backgrounds. They strive for an informal, collegial atmosphere where respect, appreciation and positivity are core values.
Responsibilities
As an Application Manager within the IT Risk, Legal and Compliance team you have a shared responsibility for a good performing, functional and stable application landscape for this business domain. You will be responsible for the development, life cycle management and support of the applications that fall under your care. You do this from a complete end-to-end perspective with all relevant stakeholders in the Risk, Legal and Compliance value chain. This requires close cooperation within their team and with the other IT teams, like IT Retail, IT Corporate Banking, IT Finance, IT Architecture, Integrations and Business Intelligence.
As Application Manager:
– Guarantee the quality and continuity of your own IT business services by primarily preventing incidents and, secondarily, resolving the incidents as quickly and effectively as possible;
– (partly) responsible for -or participate in- the relevant IT changes/projects as well as for the final acceptance of these changes/projects on your applications;
Qualifications
- You operate on an HBO level –with focus on IT;
- You have at least 5 years work experience on managing multiple applications including full responsibility for lifecycle management;
- You are solution oriented and strive to get the best results;
- You are experienced in working in Agile/Scrum/DevOps teams;
- Fluent in English;
- Knowledge about Risk Modelling processes;
- Good understanding of Python, SQL, REST and JSON;
- They work a lot with external vendors and external employees, it is important you know how to collect and secure knowledge about the solutions which are built or have to be supported;
