Team

You will be part of a team that is creating a new product to take data-driven decisions and prepare for the day of operations. Built on extensive data and AI models, the application helps the sector with creating what-if scenario’s and taking pro-active measures. 

Responsibilities

As a full stack developer, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team working on a dashboard application. This Application is set-up as a dashboarding platform used internally to plan the day-to-day operations. They aim to deliver value every day, in small iterations deploying continuously.

You will be responsible for writing readable and robust code, to implement new features and to help the team continuously improve the overall application.

Together with your team you are responsible for the concept, development and deployment of the product as well as maintaining the underlying infrastructure. They ship early, often and quickly. In their development process, they have a strong focus on quality and security which is reflected in their way of working.

For example:

• Implementing new features;
• Maintaining their cloud hosted microservices;
• Ensuring a consistent UI experience across their application(s);
• Maintaining and improving their CI/CD pipeline;
• Writing restful API’s;
• Thinking along with architectural decisions;

Technology stack: Typescript, ReactJS, NodeJS, NestJS, Docker, OpenShift, PostgreSQL, Elastic Search, Redis, Kafka, Jest, Rush, Azure.

Qualifications

• You have at least 4+ years’ experience developing in Javascript
• You know your way with API driven design (Microservices)
• You have working experience with/a huge interest in developing Cloud Systems (AWS or Azure)
• You’re familiar / have experience with Agile and DevOps processes
• You are capable of working independently while also enjoy pairing with other developers
