Our client provides information services that unburden logistics parties and chains within the air cargo industry, by providing complete, reliable and relevant data at the right time.

The project replaces the current platform and realizes a completely new, future-proof Port Community System (PCS) for the air cargo sector. The (improved) products & services of the new PCS will be supported by a state-of-the-art data hub, modern business apps, portals and APIs.

The project currently consists of a core team of business and information analysts, architects and data modelers and several feature teams of integration, API, and software developers and testers.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking for a technical information analyst, for both the data hub and the business layer of apps, portals and APIs. You will be responsible for the technical development of epics and user stories at the level that the feature teams can refine, build and test them. You will work very closely with one or more feature teams and the other business analysts. You prepare refinement sessions meticulously, ensure that epics and stories are placed on the product backlog in the right context and are the source of information for the feature teams during the sprints.

Developing epics and user stories means analyzing business requirements, application features, information flows and data structures. You translate these into technical requirements and stories for the relevant components in accordance with the PCS solution architecture.

Qualifications

• Passion for complexity, but an eye for detail;
• +4 years experience with data and information systems;
• Experience with technical information analysis in agile/scrum projects and substantive guidance of feature teams;
• Knowledge of and experience with XML, JSON;
• Experience in the logistics sector is an advantage;
