You will be part of the Dutch BI team which is in the transition to a department with an International focus. In this challenging job you will work together with your colleagues in Utrecht and Amsterdam on several local and International projects.

Bring your expertise in Business Intelligence and step into a hands-on working relationship with business users and management at various levels within our organization to understand business process requirements, develop functional designs, translate them into business systems technical requirements/designs in order to implement Business Intelligence solutions within the entire organization. 

Responsibilities 

• Develop advanced BI solutions using the Microsoft on premise and Azure cloud BI stack including, Integration Services / Data Factory, Analysis Services, T-SQL, and Power BI;

• Analyse, design, develop, and document Business Intelligence solutions based on standards and best practices;

• Design and develop Business Intelligence solutions using tabular models, multidimensional cubes and Power BI;

• Work closely with the BI team and provide technical design recommendations on the Data Vault and dimensional data models which support reporting and analytics;

• Work with business users and other stakeholders to understand business processes, and translate them into functional and non-functional specifications for BI solutions;

• Perform ongoing monitoring and refinement of data models and reports;

Qualifications

• At Least Bachelor’s Degree; 

• Proven experience with dimensional modelling (experience with Datavault is preferred);

• Extensive development, architecture, and configuration skills in Microsoft SQL Server;

• 3+ years Experience with Microsoft Integration Services, Analysis Services, Reporting Services, and SQL;

• Experience with data warehousing concepts and techniques (Dimensional- and Datavault models);

• Experience building ETL processes to convert operational transactional data into dimensions and fact tables;

• Experience with other ETL and visualization tools like Azure Logic Apps & Pipelines, Alteryx, Snaplogic or Tableau is a pré;

• Able to communicate technical information in a business friendly manner;
