For a strategic project at one of our clients, we are immediately looking for an experienced Product Owner.

You will leading the team that develops an operational platform that enable insight in key airport processes, provide data driven solutions and enable innovation. 

Department

Within the Business Platform Operations (BPT-OPS), they want to make the entire operational process predictable, in control and efficient. Their mission is to make their Business Operations perform optimally every day. With a focus on topics such as integrated planning & forecasting, end-to-end responsibility and deep turnaround.

The team developed a distributed system; the operational platform that supports their external parties to make data-driven decisions. This platform collects data from various systems, uses AI models, and provides control options for management functions in the operation. The main goal: Get a grip on the entire operational process with the help of data. 

For example:

– Dashboarding based on AI camera technology for aicraft stands;
– Prediction model for arrival and departure times; 
– Dynamic map with realtime insights in airside traffic and runway usage;

Responsibilities

Your role is to ensure that the needs of the business are properly mapped and translated by the delivery team into solutions that lead to a better passenger experience at optimal cost. This may involve creating prediction models, improving briefing and handover structures, increasing insight into performance and bottlenecks, etc. You will do all this through agile working methods.

Qualifications

• 5 years of work experience in a Product Owner role;
• Experience in creating product roadmaps, epics, user stories and prioritizing the backlog;
• Take ownership, leading teams and own your product life cycle; 
• Make things happen, bring energy and take responsibility;
• Knowledge of and experience with data science and/or big data is a plus;
