For one of our clients: an enterprising bank, we are currently seeking for an experienced and innovation focused Solution Architect.
Join them, and start supporting the digital transformation of their Corporate, Retail or Finance & Risk banking IT department.
Team
You are a member of the Architecture Center of Expertise and participate in the weekly Architecture Core Group meetings to co-create and discuss the future bank-wide architecture.
Responsibilities
As a Solution Architect, you are responsible for delivering integrated architectural solutions for the projects, initiatives and changes within specific domains. You lead, develop and document solutions in collaboration with business stakeholders, architects, application specialists and technology partners in accordance with enterprise architecture governance, principles and rules of engagement.
They work within an ecosystem of external parties and Fintechs, which results in a challenging and divers architectural landscape with lots of opportunities for a Solution Architect to make an impact on the IT strategy.
As a Solution Architect, you:
- Take the lead for standardization and centralization across systems, processes and data for specific domains (e.g. Corporate, Retail or Finance & Risk) aligned with Enterprise Architecture;
- Define and document business technology domains improvements via blueprints of the current state, target state, and roadmaps to guide technology investment;
- Design solutions for strategic and tactical changes within specific domains;
- Ensure the alignment of solutions designs with the architecture, business/IT strategies and relevant stakeholders;
- Conduct architectural evaluation and provide feedback on deliverables within the Architecture Core Group across all domains;
For example:
- Creation of the Solution Architecture for Robotic Process Automation;
- Solution Architecture design for Definition of Default, Watchlist & UTP triggers;

Design of a new Multi Factor Authentication (I&AM) for external clients and business partners. Including the RfP guidance, vendor selection, PoC, risk assessment and decision making;
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master Degree of Business Information Management, Engineering or Computer Sciences;
- In depth knowledge and experience within one or more following sectors: Corporate Banking, Retail Banking, Finance and Risk;
- Knowledge of non-functional aspects of IT Architecture (Performance, Scalability, Flexibility, Resilience, Availability, Security etc.);
- Knowledge or experience with modern application architecture and integration solutions, like SOA, API’s and cloud services (SaaS, IPaaS);
