You’ll join a multidisciplinary consulting team working on everything from IT modernization and strategy to agile, cloud, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.

Responsibilities

As a solution architect, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Together, they advise the management of leading financial institutions on strategic and operational technology issues. In close collaboration with their clients you analyse issues, identify solutions, and help build business cases to change the way their clients run their business in the digital age.

Examples of projects:

Projects range from a few months to two years. Most of their clients are International Enterprise banks and insurers. 

• Define technology solutions as part of modernizing the legacy IT landscape of banks;

• Safely migrate operations to the cloud or build a new system using cloud capabilities;

• Advise clients in selection of their technology stack, help shape their technical vision and select platforms accordingly;

• Providing their clients with a clear roadmap for the entire enterprise cloud journey.

Main tasks

• Engaging with C-level, steering committees and decision-making; 

• Facilitating and managing the process of establishing a widely supported solution design to an IT challenge;

• Supports all teams involved in the development of more detailed designs, while safeguarding agreed upon principles and integration patterns;

• Evaluate project constraints to find Key Architectural Concerns and manage the process of finding alternatives and have a supported decision on the way forward; 

• Be a linking pin between the cloud transformation team and risk assurance, risk and regulation and finance for cloud to be able to offer the client a compliant and cost effective cloud solution;

• Notifies and sketches scenarios for issues connected to the architecture;

• Analyzes the business impact that certain technical choices may have on a client’s business processes;

• Supervises and guides development teams.

Qualifications

• Preferably MsC or proven at level (assessment is part of the hiring process);

• You are certified in TOGAF, Archimate, Azure and preferably also Power Platform;

• You are a creative thinker who can turn concepts into clear solutions based on your technical vision;

• You combine excellent communication skills with an entrepreneurial and solution-oriented mindset;

• Experience in transforming applications or IT landscape to compliant and cost effective cloud environment ;

• Experience with project management programs, SCRUM, different variants of Agile techniques;

• Experienced in working with multiple integration patterns like file, KAFKA, REST API;

• Able to present and communicate fluently in English and Dutch.
